The company was founded by Jon Goswell, who built JG Electrical Services Ltd from the ground up with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, safety, and compliance. Over many years, Jon developed a solid reputation for reliable electrical installations, fault finding, and ongoing maintenance, serving a wide range of domestic and commercial clients. As the business grew, JG Electrical Services expanded its scope to include more complex commercial and industrial work, alongside emerging technologies such as Solar PV and renewable energy systems.
As of 1st January 2026, JG Electrical Services Ltd transitioned and Jon Goswell officially retired from the business. He has stepped away from day-to-day operations of the business and will be enjoying his retirement, including spending more time at his property in France. While retired, Jon may occasionally be seen assisting us informally during particularly busy periods, but he no longer holds an operational role within the company.
JG Electrical Services Ltd is now officially run by Sam Goswell, who has taken over responsibility for the ongoing management and development of the business. Sam is supported by Joe Dunk, who has joined the company and focuses primarily on domestic electrical work while also assisting across commercial, industrial, and renewable projects when required. Together, the team continues to deliver the same high standards of electrical contracting that the company has always been known for — covering domestic installations, commercial and industrial electrical services, inspection and testing, and renewable energy systems.

We specialise in Solar PV, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle Charging and Solar Immersion Controllers in the West Sussex, East Sussex and Hampshire area. We also fault find, diagnose and repair old solar PV systems and can add Battery Storage and Immersion controllers to these. We are based in Bognor Regis but cover the south coast. Quotes for Solar PV are free of charge and subject to you giving us 12 months of electricity bills our solar software generates savings and payback for the solar pv costs.
